Being a Stay At Home Mum comes with its own set of challenges and rewards. I've learned so much about patience, multitasking, and the importance of self-care. I've also discovered a newfound appreciation for the simple things in life, like baking cookies or enjoying a quiet moment with a cup of tea.
I believe that everyone should have access to resources to help them be the very best version of themselves and I’m committed to doing what I can to make that a reality. That’s where Head and Heart Books was born. My goal is to use my experiences as a social worker to help other women navigate the ups and downs of life and delve into the world of self-discovery, self growth and self love because it is a lifelong journey we can walk through together.
I'm so grateful to be able to share my passion with you. I hope that you find my resources helpful and that they bring some positivity to your day.
- I’m a mum of three, including twins! My oldest are girl/boy twins and my youngest is another boy.
- I suffered recurrent miscarriages before successfully holding a pregnancy. Thankfully my Obstetrician was able to find out what was causing the miscarriages.
- I grew up in the beautiful Adelaide Hills, South Australia on a farm.
- Despite being an introvert, I make an effort to be social and connect with others (I do need my alone time at nights to recoup).
- I enjoy taking time for myself on a weekend morning for a relaxing bubble bath.
- I love to read. I have a massive TBR (To-Be-Read) list.
- I also love journaling. I am a bit of a stationary addict.
- Being creative is very important to me, I own a Cricut machine and cupboards full of craft supplies to allow me to be creative.
- Spending time outdoors with me family is a favourite activity of mine. Whether it's going for a walk, a bike ride, or having a picnic, I really value quality time with my loved ones.
